Palazzo Belgiojoso Archaeological Museum - Prehistoric section

The museum hosts the finds from the surrounding area, amongst which are worthy of note those from the peat deposits at Bosisio Parini, the most important site dating to the Bronze Age found in the Lecco area. The numerous pottery vases and the utensils uncovered in the 19th century bear witness to life in a pile-dwelling settlement of the Early Bronze Age (2200-1650/1600 BC - the Polada culture).
