Villa Mirabello Civic Archaeological Museum - Prehistoric section
The recently inaugurated prehistoric section exhibits finds in chronological order, placing them within the historical context of the area and the archaeological research that has been carried out there, reconstructing the rhythms and the gestures that make up the daily life of the distant past.
Amongst the other things displayed are featured the objects from excavations of the pile-dwelling settlements on the Varese lakes inserted in the UNESCO transnational serial site list "prehistoric pile-dwelling sites of the Alpine region".
