Collegiate Museum

The museum complex includes the church and the baptistery, decorated thanks to the patronage of Cardinal Branda Castiglioni who, between 1422 and 1435, renovated the churches and palaces of the village, engaging from Tuscany the most up to date artists of the time, amongst which was Masolino from Panicale. The frescoes in the apse of the Collegiate church and of the baptistery constitute the masterpiece of this great artist.
